Slab Tong Crane

TYHI has produced hundreds of slab tong cranes including rigid type slab tong crane, flexible type slab tong crane, slewing slab tong crane. The lifting capacity includes the weight of slab, tong and guide cylinder. The 64/25+25t crane is the first powered tong crane that ever made in China. TYHI’s EOT slab tong cranes with a capacity of 25t-112t reached world level.

Application

The slab tong crane is the special equipment used to handle slabs, especially for the slabs with high temperature. The crane is used to handle the high temperature slabs from continuous casting bloom to the slab storage and heating furnace or handle the normal temperature slab in the finished-parts storage. The slab thickness can reach 150mm or above.

Features

01.The weight of flexible slab tong crane is light, and main hoist mechanism is connected with tong through wire rope. The swing of tong can be reduced through the precise design of wire rope reeving system.

02.The rigid slab tong crane is with the advantages of easy alignment, high efficiency and good safety, the guide cylinder is provided to avoid the swing of tong during operation.

03.The gravity type slab tong crane is with the similar structure of EOT crane, slab tong is suspended below the hook device of main hoist mechanism (single hook, double hook). The special tong device with automatic opening and closing mechanism and locking function is used.

04.The diversity of structure: Automatic slab tong, Electric hoist automatic slab tong, Electric translational slab tong, Automatic trapezoidal slab tong and hydraulic slab tong.

05.Movable cabin is provided for the big span slab tong crane for the better range of sight. The movable cabin can move independently and also can move along with trolley.
