Hot Strip Mill Oil Film Bearing

TYHI have been designing and manufacturing various Hydrodynamic and Hydrostatic-hydrodynamic oil film bearings, which meets with the requirements of heavy loading, wide speed range and bad working environment for the 750mm, 1250mm, 1450mm, 1580mm, 1780mm, 2250mm, 2550mm hot strip mills, CSP mills, ESP mills, Steckel mills and so on.

Application

Our oil film bearings are installed in back-up roll assembly (or work roll assembly), to bear the rolling pressure and ensure low-energy-consumption performance of the rolls.

Features

01.TYHI has constantly been researching and developing in oil film bearing theory, material and structure with internationally leading technology. For different rolling mill characteristics, TYHI can provide customized oil film bearing solutions. TYHI has its own oil film bearing research institute and oil film bearing engineering laboratory, and has compiled and set up China National Standard of Oil Film Bearing for Rolling Mills.

02.TYHI is capable of producing 1000 sets of oil film bearings annually with specifications ranging from diameter 160mm to 2000mm. Advanced equipment such as large vertical grinding center, intelligent alloy welding center and so on, are used in the manufacturing process, and advanced technology is developed to guarantee the performance accuracy of oil film bearing products. For example, the surface grinding technology can make sure that the sleeve surface roughness reaches Ra 0.02~0.05, and the Babbitt alloy welding technology can make sure that the alloy bond strength reaches above 80MPa.

03.The professional service team established by TYHI consists of experts for rolling mill, bearing and lubrication, who can provide technical consultation, on-site installation guidance, fault diagnosis and technical training, etc., and can respond quickly to users' demands in shortest time to ensure reliable operation of oil film bearings.

Structure

The oil film bearing can be divided into two types, Hydrodynamic type and Hydrostatic-hydrodynamic type, which is selected according to the specific working condition of the mill. A set of oil film bearing mainly consists of radial loadtaking system, axial loadtaking system, sealing system, locking system, protection system and monitoring system.
In the radial loadtaking system, the sleeves are of two different types: keyless and keyless & thin wall; hydrostatic-hydrodynamic bushings are of three types: single oil cavity, double oil cavity and four oil cavity; Axial loadtaking system have two different structures: single thrust and double thrust; there are two different types of seals in sealing system: JF seal and ACS seal; there are three different types of locking system: mechanical locking, hydraulic locking and mobile hydraulic locking. Customers are free to make their decision of combination of above various types in accordance with their conditions.
