Methanation Reactor

Methanation reactor, as the most important and critical equipment in Coal to SNG process,is an effective equipment to improve coal utilization ratio.Material：14Cr1MoR.

Application

Syngas into sulfur protective vessel to remove catalyst poison residues and then divided to two parts. After mixing with recycle gas, part of the syngas goes through 1st methanation reactor and in the reactor water gas shift reaction and methanation reaction take place, which produces methane-rich product. After cooled by heat exchange to produce high pressure steam, the product from 1st methanation reactor mixes with the other part of the syngas, and then the mixture flows into 2nd methanation reactor. After cooled by heat exchange to produce high pressure steam again, the product gas from the reactor is divided that part as recycle gas is supplied to 1st methanation reactor and the remaining adjusts the methanation section.

Features

01.In Dec, 2011, TYHI successfully manufactured the first 7 sets of large-scale methanation reactor in China. the equipment has reached the international advanced level of similar products according to field test results.
