Low temperature multi-effect distillation for seawater desalination unit, which is one of the most widely used and advanced seawater desalinization unit at present, is the development tendency of thermal seawater desalinization. The principle is that in the heat exchange tube, the heat released by steam condensation evaporate the seawater out of the tube to form a secondary steam, the secondary steam flows into the next effect evaporator as the heating steam of the next effect evaporator, this cycle continues until the final effect.

Low temperature multi-effect distillation for seawater desalination unit can be used in steel mill, power plant, and chemical plant. 01.Due to the low requirements to seawater pre-treatment, the equipment can adapt to various qualities of sea water. The process of sea water pre-treatment is simple, the temperature range (0 ℃ ~ 35 ℃) of seawater is wide and the investment cost is low.

02.It meets the national requirements of energy conservation and emission reduction with the characteristics of low cycle power consumption, high thermal efficiency of the system, the use of waste heat of the plant and low power consumption(less than 1.25kwh /t).
